My Five Questions
June 29, 2007 by Summer
Shannon, over at Rocks in my Dryer has a Meme on her blog today titled Five Questions. I thought it would be fun to answer these five random questions she’s put up.
1. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
No bake peanut butter oatmeal cookies.
I’ve been craving peanut butter and oatmeal ever since I started nursing (and I love these cookies anyway) so definitely the above.
2. What’s the most nerve-racking “close call” you’ve ever had?
An anti-depressant combined with thyroid medication could have sent me into a coma. I found out later that in very rare instances the two can interact toxically.
Instead of the coma I was stricken with instant panic disorder and was too sick to eat for a few days
3. Name five features your ultimate dream house would have
A. A very large backyard with pool and garden
B. Vaulted Ceilings
C. A Play room and Game room
D. Jetted Tub in the Master Bath
E. A HUGE kitchen with tons of counter space, an island, Frigidaire 40″ Freestanding Dual Fuel Range with 5 Sealed Gas Burners & EvenCook3 Element Stainless Stell Convection System, trash compactor and triple sink basin
4. Who has been the most influential non-relative in your life?
My best friend Michelle. We met at age 14 and have been through a lot together. She has been instrumental in shaping who I am and I consider her to have saved my life when I went through some dark times
5. What one non-physical feature would you most like to change about yourself?
I would love for something I struggle with, OCD to simply disappear. It has played a part in making me a better person I think but I would be happy if I woke up one day and it was simply gone.

Oh my gosh, I have been inhaling peanut butter and oatmeal ever since I was pregnant. I thought it would go away after birth. But, it didn’t. I am breastfeeding and I wonder if there’s some biological thing going on there?
Both of them always taste SO good!
I found you through Rocks in my Dryer.
This interaction thing - that’s scary. Wasit a thyroid med for hyper or hypo? Sorry for the curiosity, but I take both too and would like to know what to steer clear of.Thx.
Also, I’d love your recipe for the pb/oatmeal cookies.
It was levoxyl for hypo. It caused an even bigger problem because the doctor never rechecked my levels and it caused me to become hyper, which when you’re hyper it can cause your heart to race and give youother panic like symptoms.
Even when I tried it again on a proper dosage, the two combined made me very ill and caused panic attacks again.
I had to choose one or the other to take.
I’ll post the pb oatmeal cookies under Kid Pleasers today.
Thanks for your comment.
Hey, I’ve got the vaulted ceilings. Love the light, airy space they offer but HATE IT when there are cobwebs I can’t reach even with the extender stick. Also, changing light bulbs is no fun at all. I’ve had one out for two weeks now cause I just don’t feel like getting up that high on a ladder and I’m too uncoordinated to do it with the long stick thing designed for that purpose. Am I whining? Nope. I really DO love my tall ceiling. But I’m just saying, lower ones have their own blessings as well.
