Trista over at The Pumpkin Patch is hosting an awesome End of Summer Party, full of giveaways, vacation stories and pictures. I have decided to participate by holding a giveaway.
One lucky person will win:
* An adorable multi-patterned, multi-colored sun dress by Hanna Andersson, size 3 months, and, a three pack of Gerber, zip front, tagless sleep n’ plays in pinks and whites, size 0-3 months.
A second winner will receive one pack of Gerber sleep n’ plays, identical to the package shown above. So you have two chances to win something for your darling baby girl. Or, you could win it for someone you know.
Here are the details:
1. Leave a comment on this post telling me one of your favorite things about newborn babies. Comments that do not do this will be removed from the drawing.
2. The giveaway ends this Friday, August 24, 2007 at 11:59 p.m. est.
3. The first winner randomly drawn will receive the dress and sleep n’ play. The second winner randomly drawn will win the identical pack of sleep n’ plays. Winners will be announced on Saturday, August 25, 2007.
4. You do not need to have a blog or website to enter, but don’t forget to leave a valid email address so I can contact you if you win.

Oh I love little baby stuff! All the cute clothes, small feet, cuddly blankets!
I like the fact that if you are not scared out of your mind, and are willing to sleep at odd hours, they really can be quite easy to take care of.
My favorite thing about new babies is the smell of the top of their head. I think it might be intoxicating.
I love the way newsborn relax on your shoulder when they fall asleep. They are so sweet and helpless. I think only women are attracted to helplessness it’s those XX chromosomes!

My favorite thing about newborns….THE SMELL! (Nothing like that NEW BABY SMELL!)
Everything! OK, mostly everything. Their tiny fingers and toes, how cuddly they are, all the cute little clothes, how they smell, how they are just so dependent for all their needs (which is, of course what makes them take up a lot of time too!).
My favorite thing about newborn babies is that they can’t talk back yet. *wink*
Makes me wish I had a smaller baby girl again or I knew someone who was having one… :( Those are adorable!

I love the sweet, sweet smell of a newborn baby, and how they sigh when you are holding them, and I love their floppy little bodies, and their soft, wrinkly skin. You can tell I am addicted, I have 7 kiddos! And praying for more!

I love the way newborns nurse, they are like little birds…so cute. What a great prize.
I love the way they nurse too. I used to call Anson, my little bird. He would just crane his neck with his mouth wide open when he was hungry. So cute!! Thanks for a great contest!
Well there are so many things to love about newborns, they are just precious little things. Probably seems funny, but one of my favorites is there sweet little cry. It is just too adorable & heart breaking at the same time (so helpless). Great contest :)
I just love newborn babies. They have that great newborn smell, but I think I love the little newborn cry the best. Isn’t that just the sweetest tiny cry? Maybe not if they are crying all day and all night, of course, but I really do like the cry. And their feet. Tiny little feet.
My favorite thing about a newborn is the smell, the cuddlyness. The bonding. The little grunts and noises in their sleep. Ah I could go on and on about what I love about newborns.
I think I’ll go sniff my baby now!
There are so many things…. but my absolute favorite is how those little miracle fingers grip around my pinkie finger. Such trust in those little blinky eyes taking in everything for the VERY first time. What a gift a baby is!

I love everything about newborn babies… from their little squished up faces, to them opening their eyes for the first time, holding on to your little pinky… everything!
Oh, the smell, and well, the smoothness of their skin, well, actually my very favorite is the way they will hold on to you, cuddle with you, snuggle.
