Sidewalk Chalk
1/3 cup quick setting plaster of Paris
1 Tablespoon powdered tempera paint
3 Tablespoons water
Plastic cookie cutters or toilet paper tube sealed on one end with duct tape
1. Mix plaster, tempera paint and water together in a small bowl until evenly blended
2. Quickly spoon the mixture into cookie cutter(s) or a toilet paper tube sealed at one end with duct tape.
3. Let the chalk dry 30 to 45 minutes
4. Carefully pop the chalk out of the cookie cutter(s) or peel the toilet paper tube off of the chalk
Wet and Stick Stickers
4 Tablespoons Hot Water
2 Tablespoons flavored gelatin
1. Pour gelatin in a small glass bowl. Add hot water and stir until gelatin dissolves
2. With a paint or pastry brush, brush the gelatin mixture onto the back of small pictures or drawings or magazine cut outs. Allow the stickers to set for 30 to 45 minutes or util dry.
3. When ready to use the stickers, wet the back then stick them.

We tried the sidewalk chalk awhile ago. The kids had as much fun making it as they did coloring with the finished project.
Those stickers sound like fun. Tucking that idea in my winter to do list. Thanks!
