Interesting things about me

Jessica and Holly both tagged me for this meme.
Hopefully this will be somewhat interesting.

1. I love sports. Playing them and watching them. It doesn’t matter if I know what teams are playing, I tend to get waaaaaay more involved than your average guy at cheering, yelling and booing while watching sports of all kinds.

2. I do scary (and sometimes stupid) things just because people assume I won’t. You know, like repelling down a 190 foot, rock wall when your hands are sweating and trembling so bad you can barely hold the rope. That’s how fetchin’ scared of heights and painful deaths I am. But I had to do it, and I did it looking up at the crowd with forced enjoyment on my face. I wouldn’t show fear in front of all those guys.

3. I once wore a size 2. Before you hate me for it, note that Hubby thought I was getting cold feet during our wedding ceremony because of the huge gasping breaths I was taking. I sacrificed my lung capacity to fit into my dream wedding dress (sz. 2), which was not alterable and not carried in my size at the time (sz. 4). Dumb dumb dumb. Also note that after having children, I will never be anything less than a size 8, ever again, if that.

4. I once threw popcorn at a female exhibitionist ruining my view at a baseball game. Did I mention I get really into sports?

5. My dream for when we are empty nesters is to travel through the U.S. and Europe, headstone hunting, visiting historical family landmarks and other things pertaining to our genealogy.

Size 2? And, here I was hoping to get back into my size 12s!

ooh, so..that fact that you do things just because other people think you won’t or can’t…that is what i do. cuz they think i’m this tiny, wimpy girl and i just have to prove them wrong. even if i’m freaked out of my mind. kudos to you.
