You know your 4 year old watches Ninja Turtles too often when…

….the delivery man comes to the door and the 4 year old yells, “Yeah! Pizza time!” and proceeds to scarf down one whole piece of pizza, when previously, he has never touched the stuff.

….he responds when you call him Michaelangelo, even better than he does to his own name

….the jump rope, his sandals, the play station controller, his belt and the detachable cd player cord have all been used at different times as Nunchucks.

….his ninja turtle figures must accompany him on all outings, along with a longish thin object for fighting bad guys. This includes but is not limited too, a toy light saber, a crayon, a butter knife, a paper towel tube, etc.

….he announces to every stranger he meets, “I a enjin tortol!”

I can totally relate to the name thing. At one point, Girlie Girl was so into Disney Princesses that she would dress up as a different one each day and insist we call her by that princess name. LOL!

Oh too funny! I bet he’s adorable telling everyone he’s a ‘tortol’! We’ve avoided the whole Ninja Turtle thing, but like Kailani we’re into the whole princess deal instead. They do also pretend to be Little Einsteins or Wonder Pets pretty often too so we have Abby/June/Ming-Ming and Hannah/Annie/Linny. LOL

And will he be dressing up as Michelangelo for Halloween too? LOL! Mine went though a pirate stage and I had to make him a bandana and an eye mask and one for his elephant too…

We knew a little girl that was into Lion King. She crawled everywhere - and I mean everywhere. When I asked her why she was crawling she looked at me like I was an idiot and said, “Because LIONS DON’T WALK!” Silly me….

My son calls them “Injured Turtles” which gives it a whole new meaning and also cracks me up.
