I went pink…

…for most of October. I can only handle so much pink though. It’s still growing on me. I mean come on, after years of hating it, then realizing it was my best color, then realizing that I kind of really like it and it made me feel feminine to wear it, ok, so I like it, but it was really too much, plus it’s nearly Halloween. I had to pay some homage to my second favorite holiday, for more than one day.

And that brings us to the Aloha Friday question.

What will you and your families be dressing up as for Halloween?

I’m going to be Peter Pan, Angel Girl is Tinkerbell, and the boys keep changing their minds, but I’m pretty sure Obi-Wan will be a Ninja Turtle and Count Dooku will (heh heh) be Count Dooku, as per his request.

Hubby and I probably won’t dress up this year. It scares Little Bug… and he won’t be dressing up either! :S Red is going as Ron Weasley and Baby Girl is a Princess.

I’m going as a Lady Pirate, Josh is a Pirate, Katelyn is Snow White, and Lindsay is TinkerBell. I’m not sure what Marissa is going to be, she’ll wait until Monday to tell me.

Love the new look, even if it’s only for a couple of days. I like black and orange.

My older girls haven’t “announced” yet what they will wear (if they even dress up this year. They are approaching that age where they are soon to give up the actual dressing up). My little daughter is going to be 1/2 devil and 1/2 angel (so appropriate) and my son is going to be a race car driver (also appropriate for him). See ya.

I thought I’d “doddle” back over here to let you know that I left you a comment on my post. Aren’t you the “spelling-bee-queen” (ha) - My sister is the one that usually catches my spelling errors - now I have you. Thanks - see ya.

I will wear a black hooded cape and my grandchildren will be a pumpkin, Leonardo the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and after I finish sewing today, Obi-wan Kenobi from the Star Wars prequel movies.

I did the same thing… I couldn’t take the pink anymore and wanted to get back to my fall theme for Halloween, so don’t feel bad!

My 6 yr old is going as a cheetah, with a cheetah dress, bow tie and tail/kitty ears. My youngest is going as Tigger. I haven’t decided if I am going to dress up yet, but I was thinking about making myself a hat that looks like a Hershey’s Kiss.

Steve’s going to be Ursula the sea witch. Carter is a lobster. I haven’t decided yet. I probably will spend 2 hours on Steve’s makeup in the morning and then decide to go costumeless, which really is against everything ME. I love halloween and dressing up. Maybe I’ll wear funky eye lashes and call it good :)

I am one of those party poopers that thinks adults look silly dressed up for Halloween. I’ll probably put on one of my Halloween t-shirts. Max will be Optimus Prime and Jessamine will be an angel.

My hubby and I don’t dress up but the girls are going to be a monarch butterfly (Abby), Ariel (Hannah) and a doggie (Becca).

I liked the pink. It was cute, but I like this theme too!

for Halloween the girls are going to be girlie pirates with tutus and big ol’ bows! YAY. If I can find enough fabric I might make myself a corset to match them!

My son is going as a Ninja and my daughte as a Teal Dragon Lady…..essentially as a pretty teal version of a girl ninja. Me…I’ll be a college student, as I will be at class that night….major bummer! And the hubby….he will be the children’s bouncer…uhm…essentially their trick-or-treat bodyguard!

We haven’t done the family theme thing yet, so we’re a hodge podge. I’m going medieval, Neil’s going to be dracula or a pirate, Emma is going to be a winged unicorn, and Becca is going to be Tigger.

Girlie Girl will be Cinderella, of course! Baby Bug will be a bug. hee hee

    Will=Pirate Natalie=Pioneer.

I’m going as Dannielle, because I’ll probably be watchin her baby that night.
For weeks I’ve been asking George “Do you like this costume?”
and repeatedly getting the response “hmm, no.” He finally said yes to one. Apparently, he’s been waiting all this time for me to ask him if he wanted to be a “fire ninja”. (or as he calls it “Hiya!”.)

Um, is tired mommy a legitimate costume? I could always wear my scout shirt and go as a den leader…which I am!

Can’t wait to see the photos : ) At our place, Jacqui will be a ladybug, Kyle will be a dragon… And I don’t do costumes. I’m scary enough in real life : P

I didn’t dress up. The only trick of treaters that came to our house were from next door and they don’t eat sugar, so I gave them individual bags of baby carrots and microwave popcorn.
