Make your own Baby Wipes
Step 1: Cut a paper towel roll in half. I saw through mine with a serrated knife

Step 2: Pull the cardboard tube out of the middle and discard or save for a craft project

Step 3: In a round container with airtight lid pour 1 1/2 cups of water, and…
Two tablespoons of baby oil, and…

Two tablespoons of Baby Wash and swish around with the lid on till combined

Step 4: Put the paper towel roll in, snap the lid on and flip upside down. Let all the wipe solution soak in.

Step 5: Once the solution has soaked in you can set the wipes upright and store wherever. Make sure the lid is tightly sealed.

Step 6:
To use the wipes, pull up from the center and tear off at the sheet line.

This solution could be used with reusable cloth wipes as well.

I HAVE to try this! Thanks for the info!
sweet. my sister-in-law gave me these for Christmas one year (odd, but nice) and i saved the recipe she enclosed with it forever but eventually tossed it cuz i never tried it. thanks for this!
Very cool idea! For a second there I thought you were talking about fabric wipies. And there’s something about that I just can’t do.
You are so brilliant! I’m sending this to a non-blogging friend of mine who’s actually ambitious enough to do it. =P
Now that’s cool!!
Thanks for coming over - see you soon.
I had a friend who always used these. They worked very well. We use old baby wash cloths. Seems like I got 100’s of these each time I had a kid! :)
This is wonderful! Good job :-)
oh great idea Summer! I have been wanting to “make my own” for a while now
Very cool idea. I’m going to send it to my sister who has kids young enough for wipes! We love new money saving ideas.
