Snow

We had our first snowfall yesterday. For as much as I don’t like snow, I really do love the first snow fall. Especially when it happens before Christmas, because it makes it feel more like Christmas. Gets me more excited for Christmas.

The night sky is bright as the moonlight reflects off of the snow that blankets everything.

And the day after it has stopped snowing, the air smells fresh and the sky is always the most vibrant blue.

We have a lot of snow, and I usually love it. In fact, I took a trek into our woods to take lots of pictures, it was SO gorgeous! Unfortunately, it is supposed to rain this weekend so our snowy white landscape will turn into mud. Hopefully we’ll get some more before Christmas. Last year we had almost none until late January. Christmas was just NOT the same!

I love how blue the sky is in the winter. I can’t wait for it to snow here again.

I love it when it snows before Christmas, too. It makes me want to do all the xmas things - shop, bake, decorate.

We had our first snow a few days ago. I took “George” out to see it just in time to hear a commotion, as my new neighbor barged into another neighbor’s apartment thinking it was the complex’s laundry facility. Hahaha. Oh yeah, the snow was pretty, but now it’s all slush. Yech.

I’m already ready for Spring again :(
I know, boo hoo, get over it. But it’s COLD! Albeit beautiful.

Wow, look at that blue sky. How I wish Hong Kong (that’s where I am) has a sky like that!

We just have rain, although there is a chance for some snow today. My boys are anxious. You’re right about the sky. It’s always a prettier blue after it snows.

That is a gorgeous shade of blue in your photo! We’re stuck with mostly gray, dull skies here during the winter - I’d almost not mind the snow if we had a beautiful sky like that over it! :)

Mmmmm.. I love the first snow too, then I”m over it about two weeks later and start praying for the pools to open again….
