In case someone is reading and cares
I didn’t get a Wii for Christmas (a girl can dream) but I did get this:
My favorite dragon and my favorite new school (old school would be Mario Bro. and Donkey Kong) game series of all time, ever since the first game came out. There aren’t many things I could call myself fanatical about, but someday I want to own every Spyro game ever made, along with the complete Calvin and Hobbes Collection (maybe next year hon?) of course. Oh yeah, and that Wii.
So, any other chica’s out there enjoy video games as much as I do? Or am I the odd one out?
In any case, the game was a complete surprise. I mentioned it once, a while ago to tell hubby I was sad that they might not make it for PS2. Money is super tight as always and Tom actually used a gift card someone gave him as a present to pay for half of it. It was the only present I got and that’s totally cool, I wasn’t expecting anything at all. I love my thoughtful hubby!

Those unexpected presents are the best ones, aren’t they? Nope, I’m not a video gamer. I won’t even allow them in my house. E has a gameboy advance and that’s it. And, we’ve already had to curtail the play for today as he gets grumpy when he plays too much. He doesn’t play it all day or all the time though. But he received two new games today.

I’m not much of a gamer, although I did “Box” a bit today while the kids were playing the Wii all day.

I luuuurve video games and the like, but Neil is anti, and all we own is a v-tech system my parents got Emma for Christmas last year. ~sigh~ Congrats!

I play just a little bit… my hubby and I will pull out the old N64 and play Mario Kart or Mario Golf every now and again :) Glad you got something you love so much!!
Wow, what a sweet, thoughtful guy you have. I love him for that! I too love video games. Old school Mario rules, obviously, but I do love me some Xbox and PC games. Even played WoW for a 30 day free trial and loved it, but chose not to extend the membership because it was a little bit addicting. Li’l bit. Hope you had a great Christmas!

Um, so I think it’s obvious if you’ve read my blog that I 1) like video games ( I have to, half of my family makes them for a living) and 2) I have a Wii. Guilty. Sorry to rub it in, but yea, it’s awesome! I got my guy the Lego Star Wars game for Christmas and it’s awesome and we can both play together at the same time. I also have the Calvin and Hobbes collection (sounds like if you lived nearby we would totally need to hang out!) and I love it! I bought it for myself about two years ago as an after-christmas-gift for myself at Costco when I found the last one they had and I got it price reduced. If you are a CandH fan, this is for you!
