Party Go-er or Party Pooper?

How are you planning to spend New Years Eve?

We’re pretty boring around here. Maybe we’ll watch a movie or TV, eat some Buffalo wings, etc.

Hi!
I think we are going to our friends house for a fondue party. We havent gone the past few years, but we enjoyed going when we did. This year we are able to go, because our son is older, and we dont need to find a sitter for the dog.

Oh definitely a party pooper. Just the thought of being anywhere past 9:00 makes me cringe. lol

We spend New Year’s Eve at home, just enjoying each other and stuffing our faces. lol

Staying home relaxing. :)

That’s about what are plans sound like, movies, buffalo wings and Jalepeno poppers. Counting down and watching the ball drop will be the most exciting thing we will be doing.

I don’t think your evening sounds boring at all. I prefer to stay home, so my New Years will be good. We’re doing a ham dinner, plus Jim wants fondue. I think he asked for buffalo wings too…so probably those also. We’ll definitely be watching movies, probably playing Rummy too. Low key :)

Thanks for stopping by my Aloha Friday by the way!

We’re boring too. I remember always going dancing on New Years Eve when I was single. But, now, we’re more of homebodies. We did talk about inviting some friends over for games and stuff, but we haven’t done anything about it yet.

I guess I’m a Pooper. I’d much rather stay home than be out in a crowd. If the kid’s go out we will probably have the grand babies for a sleep over. If so we’ll naturally have to wear some hats, blow some horns and bang some pots.
A few years ago my husband worked a flight to NY on New Year’s Eve and our room at the hotel looked right out on Time Square. It was awesome to see but you could not have paid me to be down on the street with the million or so squished up people.

At heart I’m a complete pooper. But every year we host a party anyway. I’m not looking forward to it, but I’m always glad I have it, I just have pure anxiety getting ready for it.

We’re big time poopers. Not only do we not go to parties, we don’t even stay up. And this year we’re going to sleep in the living room because they like to shoot guns into the air here.

We’re putting the kids to bed and then having a small fondue party with some people from church. Half of whom I love. Half of whom I mildly abhor. Should be interesting!

Hey Summer - we are supposed to go to a party with 4 other couples - it’s at a dancehall (country) and I’m really looking forward to it. Hope you have a good weekend. See ya. Kellan

We stay home and have medya noche. It’s a traditional dinner to welcome the New Year. After the fireworks display, we go to my MIL’s place (just a few minutes away) and join the party there.

I always make a big pot of chili and finger foods and eat all the left over candy from Christmas. Basically we eat. What a great holiday!

Our New Years Eve is very low key at home evening. If our children who don’t live at home want to come over and play games, that will be fun. If not we will probably watch a movie as usual.

My sister’s family is coming over for BBQ and fireworks. :-)
