Another year has flown by
Six years ago yesterday at 10:30 a.m. I was awakened by cramping in my lower abdomen.
Fourteen hours of labor, 2 1/2 hours of pushing, one use of forceps, one broken tail bone, one fourth degree tear and 45 stitches later I held my brand new baby in my arms. The moment I held him I fell in love with him. He was so beautiful. So miraculous. So mine.
I love him just as much, six years later.
Happy Birthday Count Dooku!

Ummm. Ouch?! Happy Birthday Count Dooku! It goes by so fast. My baby just turned 7 and my oldest is 9 going on 15. Oh, and your blog still doesn’t like me!
Wow! It’s so amazing what mothers go through to get their precious little ones here. I hope that you have a great day with him!
Happy Birthday! It’s all worth it isn’t it! 45 stitches and a broken tailbone?!
Yikes, I can commiserate with the 4th degree tear, but a broken tailbone on top of that, wow. It’s amazing how worth it all is afterward though when you see that sweet baby face.
Happy birthday, Count Dooku, I hope you have a wonderful day! :)
Sympathies for you on the actual birth, but Happy Birthday to him!! :)

Happy Birthday, Count Dooku!
Fourth degree tears and/or cuts are NOT any fun! Yikes!
Ouch. I’m so glad that the kids we bring in to the world make up for the pain they give us upon entering it.
Happy Birthday to the Count!
ummm yeah….you make it sound like so much fun. LOL

Isn’t it amazing how all of the suffering goes away after you get to hold that precious one?
Damn. That sounds really, really not fun. But the reward is worth it in the end.
Happy birthday!
holy moly that sounds like one sucky labor. happy birthday to your little guy!!
Okay the hormones must be flowing because that just made me cry. I outsourced my labor and delivery, but I still know that moment - the first moment you hold your miracle in your arms. It’s indescribable.
And then they poop.
But it’s all good because then they wrap their little smiles around your heart again.
And then they poop in the BATHTUB.
and so on :)
Happy Birthday to the Count! Hugs for the mom who’s made it through 6 years too. :D
What is wonderful is that after that labor and delivery you chose to have more children.
Say Happy Birthday…to the Count and hello to his family.
