This post is just one of many giveaways featured today 06/27/08 as part of Summer’s Bloggy Birthday Bash.

I couldn’t have my bloggy birthday bash without giving away something of my own could I? I love doing blog design and I love giving things away so it just made sense. Here’s a little background for those of you who are not regular readers. I started Blog Designs by Summer back in January of this year. I had always had an interest in web design and knew HTML before I started blogging. After I joined the blogging world I discovered an interest in blog design and started to learn CSS. Then I got myself an awesome photo program and my blog design business was born. I knew I could make a good amount of money doing it but I wanted to keep it within a range that would be affordable for moms like me, so I have. I’ve been told my prices are close to Highway Robbery (lol!), but if that means someone can get a design they love when they couldn’t find it cheap enough elsewhere, I’m cool with it. I want to give one of you, a Custom Blog Design valued at $65.00, free! Here’s what it includes:

* One custom header
* One custom signature
* Up to four coordinating background patterns
* One custom link button     to promote your site
* Up to 7 custom category headers to be used in your sidebar(s)
* Up to two sidebars
* Installation

  Now, there is one   limitation. Right now I do   full redesigns for   Blogger.com blogs   only. But that’s why I’m   also giving away a   free custom header! Yep, one post, two giveaways! I can create a header for any blogging platform that allows you to upload a jpeg file as your header (wordpress, blogger, typepad, etc.). So there will be two winners for this giveaway.

1. Visit my gallery of blog redesigns.
2. Come back here and leave a comment mentioning your favorite and why.
3. Specify if you want the blog redesign or the custom header.
3. Giveaway ends at midnight wherever you are.
4. Open to anyone who has a blog (or anyone who plans to use this to start a blog).

i love the serenity design.. simple and feminine.. normally, i am about pink flashiness, but this design spoke to me

I love the one you did for clean plate club. It is nice and clean and the colors are some of my favorites.

I wish I could get the whole blog makeover, but since I am on wordpress I would have to settle for a header.

I don’t really need a blog makeover, cuz I’ve got one that I really, really love. I guess I could use a makeover for my ‘other’ blog, so what the heck!

I actually like the one that you have featured up there ^ misunderstood post. I love fonts and how just one small font change can completely and drastically change a blog. I love the blog I have but have just recently started a new site that needs a whole new fresh look. I like how your designs are understated and use muted, soft colors.

I like the Summer Reviews one with the blue flowers but if it was a violet color it’d be awesome!

Ooh, there were a few I really liked. But I really like the Clean Plate Club one. I like that there was a mix between a “real” image (the blueberries) and then other created graphics. The colors are very cute as well.

I would have to go with the header for now. I am still trying to figure out html for my new site. I envy your talents and might have to recruit your services if I can’t figure out how to do buttons etc. Yours are great!

I love Ree Writes with the pink and brown together. Pink and brown are my absolute favorites (my daughter’s room is decorated with them!). I would like the blog redesign & am REALLY hoping that I win this one!

I like Life With Lisa Anne because it appealing and has an understated air about it. I also like the look of the Serenity blog. Both have a simplicity to the designs that is attractive and not overwhelming

I like Summer Review’s because it’s light and I love flowers!
I also like the Mommy writings because of the flowers and the brown. The first is my fav though. I’d love to win the Blog design, my blog is so drab sometimes. Thanks.

Laughadaisy or Mommy’s Writing. Because they look scrapbook-y :biggrin: I have been wanting a redesign and have been trying to figure it out on my own since I can’t pay for one right now. But I haven’t been able to figure it out quite yet. It’s all trial & error with me :blink:

I have been waiting on this one…..I like the football and crowns or me marie lane (though not pink)….and I’m not just saying this because you placed them in the message above…I like them for different reasons… I definitely like the first for the combination of manly topics and divaish material…I like the second for how well everything flows together… I would definitely love a redesign like this… it would make the divadome even better! Thanks for the consideration!

Well, that’s a toughie becuase I love them all & I really need a blog-over. But I think I like Just add Dots the best because it is bright, has big photos & i love polka-dots.

I love the one you have posted in your giveaway… with the jewelery. I’d be game for either the layout or the header however I particularly need a new header as I have yet to figure out how to do one on my own that looks even half way decent.

I like the Abiding Memories design kit. It fits my personality well.

I would love a blog redesign. I am starting my own business and I need something to draw people in. I plan on starting on my site or on Etsy, and I think this would help a ton.

I love the ‘just add dots’ or ‘mommy’s writings’. I like clean and simple blog designs that still have color and funk. You do a great job! I need a total blog re-design…I’m just using the pyzam.
