Here’s a giveaway that should make you smile. I know I couldn’t help but smile, even let out a chuckle or two when I first browsed all of the unique creations Sarah of Flaky Friends has made. And I mean that as a compliment of the highest order. Sarah’s creations are truly one of a kind, truly awesome and thoroughly infused with Sarah personality. If you’re wondering what that means you should definitely visit her blog.
A few months ago, her posts started to dwindle and soon she announced the reason for it - Flaky Friends. What are Flaky Friends you ask? Sarah says it best herself:
“My creations are a comic blend of the expected and unexpected. I don’t work from patterns and all my animals are born from random doodles in my sketchpad. If my little girls aren’t crazy about the finished product, I keep working on it until they are.”
After going through her gallery of work I am hooked. I never knew stuffed animals could be so fun. I can’t imagine hugging one of these guys on a sad day and not smiling. Sarah is offering one lucky commenter the chance win Lucky the Turtle, featured at left. I love turtles and I think Lucky is adorable!

I’ve seen these before, and they are soooooooo groovy. Well, my 4yo daughter’s favorite is the crochet-flower-topped turtle. But MY favorite is Baaaaab Robertson. Love it!!

Wow, you weren’t kidding! I like Sven the blue penguin best, but it was really hard to choose. The shameless cow really cracked me up.
They are all so great, how do you choose a favourite? She really does a great job, they are all so original. My sons are drawn to the strange so I really think the earthworms are cool. You don’t see toys like them around too much! I also like the turtles that you can take in and out of their shells. Love the big googly eyes, great giveaway!

If I were picking for myself, I’d go with Bogart the Love Camel. He’s so funky!
But for my kids? I’d actually pick the prize - Lucky the turtle! I think they would get a real kick out of his funny personality, his colorful shell, and the fact that you can actually *take him out* of his shell. How cool!!

I love Sarah’s creations especially the descriptions. I was very sad when she stopped posting as often but the animals are hilarious! It is so hard to choose a favorite. Funniest is Lucky Rabbit’s Foot, Unlucky Rabbit! Cuddlest is Pegasus or Basset Hound. Craziest is a toss up between Crazy Croc and Tiger. All time favorite the Flying Big. How can someone pick just 1 favoirte???????
