Keep Your Hair Outta There!

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.

This post is just one of many giveaways featured today 06/27/08 as part of Summer’s Bloggy Birthday Bash.

Thus reads the slogan for an up and coming product I recently had the opportunity to try. The Tassi.

“What’s the Tassi? It’s a patented product that makes it easy for you to keep your hair away from your face. Made of a comfortable stretch terry cloth, the Tassi goes on in three easy steps and gently lifts and holds your hair. Unlike headbands, clips or turbans, the Tassi does not flatten, twist or mess up your “do,” so it’s perfect for protecting second-day blowouts, too. You’ll also love to use your Tassi while you’re washing your face, taking a bath, applying makeup or whenever you want your hair out of the way.” - Tassi Company Website

So I’ve been using the Tassi around the house now for a few days (while baking, washing my face, etc.) and I really like it. I like that it’s large and doesn’t easily get lost like the millions of hair bands I’ve misplaced. I like how quickly I can get my hair up into it and that my hair isn’t flat after I take it off. I like that the terry cloth completely covers my hair line when washing my face, so that my hairline doesn’t get wet. I like that the Tassi can hold hair of any length. I think it’s a very cute, useful product and I want one of you to win one of your own!

Would you like to win the Hot Pink Tassi pictured above? Here’s what you gotta do:

1. Visit the Tassi Website watch the demonstration video on the home page, then come back here and leave me a comment telling me your impression of the product OR go to the Tassi Website, click on the Shop link, then come back here and tell me which color of Tassi is your favorite.
2. This giveaway is open to residents of any country.
3. Giveaway ends at midnight tonight (wherever you’re at).

Good luck!

My first impression is that I want one…but would never ’splurge’ and actually buy one. Anything HOT PINK is for me!

KristiniaJune 27th, 2008 at 4:04 pm

Why didn’t I think of that? This is an awesome producut, I even think it’d be cute to wear with my apron while cooking and they are soo stylish! I like the lavender tassi too!

Wow, now that is cool. I think this is destined to become a part of the quintessential SAHM look. I want the chocolate brown one, so if / when I forget to take it off it will blend in with my hair and be slightly less noticeable.

I, too, was going to say that I could totally see myself wearing this while preparing dinner!

That, or during one of those nasty twin-messy-diapers-at-the-same-time changes….

Ahem!! Powder Blue for me.

BeckyJune 27th, 2008 at 4:11 pm

Wow. This thing actually looks pretty cool!! I’ve always had so much frustration with headbands falling off my head, or hair ties not staying put, or scrunchies coming loose and letting strands of hair get in my way (which is so not fun when you’re doing a face mask and have to peel hair out of drying gunk on your face…). I really think I’d love having one of these! I can see myself using it all the time - even just to get my hair out of the way to let a fan cool off my neck for a while!

I’m actually thinking of getting a shorter haircut this weekend, too, and I’m betting this would work really well at even holding back small layers of hair that wouldn’t be able to be wrapped up in a scrunchie. And I really hate trying to put a million clips in my hair. Love how simple this is - how did it take so long to come into existence?!?

By the way, *love* the turquoise Tassi. :)
I wish there was a retail location closer to me, though, in case I don’t win, because now I really want one!

So simple and yet such a luxury! It’s one of those amazing “why didn’t I think of that” products. My hair is so susceptible to tangling from the slightest movement and hanging over a sink to wash my face really does a number on it.
These are quite ingenious! Thank you so much for this giveaway; you’ve really selected wonderful gifts for the party-goers!

Oh I’m totally loving the hot pink one, but I had to click on like all the colors to decide which one for sure. LOL!!!!

This is an awesome thing, especially now that I have the big thick bangs, oh yah I need something to hold those babies back while applying the eye makeup. Thanks.

Kimberly KayeJune 27th, 2008 at 4:34 pm

Okay, I am in love with that concept. Only problem I would have is picking a color. I can’t decide between the hot pink, chili pepper, and the turquoise.

From the moment I wake up till I go to bed at night, I’ve constantly got my hair up because I hate it in my face. This Tassi thing is awesome! I love most of the colors, but my favorites would be the hot pink and turquoise. :) Thanks for the opportunity!

The chocolate brown Tassi would do the trick for my short/medium length hair. I really need to add this to my house cleaning outfit. It would be way better than the little pony I put at the top of my head. It looks like a little fountain on my head when I do that and is embarrassing for when people stop by.

I am kind of a lime green girl lately! I’d love that color.

I like these because I just got my “Bettie Page” bangs back, and they are always in the way when I am washing my face. So this helps me a ton with that!
