Redesigned and loving it!
So some of you might have noticed I have a new look, as of this morning at about 1:30 a.m.
Most of you know I design blogs but I must stress that this look is NOT my doing. Oh I thought I would teach myself to modify wordpress themes but it looks a little more complicated than blogger and in the end I decided I just didn’t want to bother with it right now. So I turned my design over to Jo-Lynne at DCR Design and Heather at Desperately Seeking Wordpress. Jo-Lynne takes care of the stand out cosmetic aspects (she made my header and background) and Heather tweaks the code. Thankfully both of them are very patient. It took me a while to come up with a color scheme I really liked and then Jo-Lynne let me see multiple copies of my header with different color arrangements. Then Heather put up with my detail conscious desires, from how wide I wanted my outer wrapper to be, down to very specific coding details for comments and fonts and the like. They were both a pleasure to work with and they worked quickly. So if you make the leap to self hosted wordpress I would highly recommend them to put together your design.

WP is indeed extremely complicated. Just when I think I have something figured out, I don’t. If I didn’t have help I probably would have thrown my computer.
Very cool! If I like the colors and the designs. Almost makes me want to change up again…no, not really. Ha ha! I do really like it though!
