Do I dare meet some of my bloggy friends in person?
Alright, I’m pretty sure one or two of my readers live in the “Happy Valley” Utah area so I just wanted to publicly announce that I’ll be there sometime within the next couple of months. I won’t say just when on this blog, ’cause I’m paranoid like that, but if you think you’d like to meet up with me, shoot me an email and we’ll try to arrange something. I’ve never met anybody I met online first, so this would be quite the jump for me. I can’t make any promises on a for sure meet up at this point as we haven’t been back in 3 years and will have many people to see. Alrighty then, just lettin’ you know.

Got something to say? Please keep it kind and clean. Otherwise I might have to share your email address with the spammers... Kidding. Kidding. Your email address will never be shared with anyone. But if your comment is inappropriate it will be deleted.

Dang! Wish people in our family wouldn’t keep having weddings and reunions or I’d so time a trip down there are the same time (airline tickets to Utah are top of my birthday wish list but alas, that so isn’t happening).
Sure hope you get to meet up with some blogging gals - such a bittersweet experience, I’ve found, but really…very much worth it.
Sounds fun, I’ll be in touch

Hi there! I don’t live in Happy Valley, but I just wanted to say I really like your blog. I found it recently, and it’s very interesting. It’s too bad I missed out on your birthday party bash but I’m looking forward to reading more of your posts!

Sadly that’s a little too far to come, but it does sound delightful to get to put faces to names. Once or twice I have had the opportunity to meet people whose voices I knew from listening to them on the radio, but who I’d never seen them in person. In almost every case, the picture in my mind’s eye bore no resemblance to what the person actually looked like.
I wonder if you’ll have a similar experience when you meet some of your readers?

I met another blogger online. She lives about 45 minutes from my parents. We have talked on the phone hundreds of times and visited at one another’s homes. She’s like an old friend and kindred spirit. You can meet some psychos on the net, but I think most of the time there are some good people out there. You just hear about all the psychos on the news.
