My sister
This is my sister. Know how you can tell we’re related?
We both have a special place in our hearts for snakes and other reptiles.
Above is my future brother in law. Don’t they look so happy?
And this…
…is the ring he gave her. The ring she’s taken about 50 different photos of to capture it at the perfect angle and in the perfect light. ‘Cause that’s just what you do when your newly engaged and floating on cloud 9. Love you sis!

Oky, am I the only one who thinks you should have put the snake photo last? Cause since you put it first I was thinking “snake” when you talked about your sister’s future husband. I know that is not what you meant.
Well, hugs to your sister! Anyway.
Congrats to your sister and her fiancee! :)
That is a gorgeous ring! Congrats to them both!

Dapoppins said it well - I was wondering if your husband and her fiance fall into the snake and reptile category. Not that that’s a bad thing - they are kind of cute. Snakes, I mean. OK, I’m stopping there before I get into trouble.

Which sister is this? Because if it’s the middle one, I would never have recognized her. (Although our favorite memory is of her taking my girls through the neighborhood to find various bugs and worms for their collection.)
If it’s the youngest one, isn’t she only 4 or 5 years old?
Geez. I’m getting old.

Love it! I have a ring fetish, so I totally love that you took a picture of it. They look so happy and in love. Sigh.
Haha! The snake insinuation never crossed my mind.
Are you sure you and your sister aren’t related to my daughter??? She loves snakes and even has one for a pet. :)
Happiness… I had a pet snake years ago. And I recall taking photos of my engagement ring in the big bathroom mirror. One with me pointing to the ring while he held the camera and then switching. Those are fun photos full of good vibes. Congrats to you and your family!

Karlene,
The youngest one is no longer 4 or 5, but is now 16. And your little one will always be 4 or 5 in my mind, too. ha! Amazing how they grow up. No, it’s the middle girl Whitney that is getting married to a guy who breeds snakes, reptiles, and spiders. They’re a perfect match. She now has someone to go out hunting the likes with.

Congratulations! She looks like your sister, and they look so happy. I can’t subscribe to this reptile love-fest, though. Next you’ll be blogging a post about how mice and rats are so adorable and make good pets… Sick!!!
Oh ho! I’ve stumbled on my first and only reason to like snakes! They eat rodents!!! Thanks for the post after all.
