Anti-Allergen Spray?
So I was recently given the opporunity (thanks Mom Central) to review and spread the word about a new product on the market. And I must say it’s a very…interesting one - Clorox® Anywhere® Anti-Allergen Fabric Spray
The claim of this product is:
“Clorox® Anywhere® Anti-Allergen Fabric Spray helps reduce common indoor allergens (cat dander, dog dander and dust mite matter) up to 90%…Clorox® Anywhere® Anti-Allergen Fabric Spray denatures, or chemically breaks apart, the allergens. The fine mist trigger is developed such that it does not leave behind a harmful residue on fabrics.”
The concept sounds good and I’ve sprayed it around a bit and it has a nice light smell and dries quickly. The main problem I have with this product is that I don’t know how you can ever know if it really works. The way I see it, people with allergies severe enough that they’d think about buying this product, already take allergy medication so how will they know if this makes a difference? I suppose this is one of those products where you’re paying more for peace of mind than anything else. But if you want to give it a try it runs just $2.99 a bottle.
So, what kind of miracle spray do you think they’ll come up with next? Or what do you wish they would invent?

Huh. Yes, that would be a bit tricky. I don’t know though. I’m allergic to cats, so maybe I’ll try buying a bottle for my cat owning best friend to spray on her couches…

I think I may need to check this out. Esme has allergies - I’m afraid to cats - which is a problem when we visit home and our kitty back in Oregon.
