Curse you Bloglandia!!!!!
Ok, not really. I just wanted to have that be the title of a post.
Seriously though, I am this close to buying myself one of these:
I remember my uber organized business minded mother always carrying around her weekly planner in her tote bag. Scribbling events, to do’s, phone numbers and the like in it. I remember thinking Heaven forbid I ever carry around a planner someday. I was certain I’d always have memory enough to sustain me. (Mom, I love ya)
But lately I’ve gotten so many freebies to review on this blog by such and such a time, and the boys are both in school now and have various events and library books need to be returned so I’m not paying $27.50 for the 3 educational videos that were 3 days late, and I need to schedule eye exams for everyone and checkups and rent has to be paid by such and such a time as well as bills and…and….and…….
I’m so close to giving in. And so far away because I must. not. acknowledge. I. need. planner. help. *URG* *ACK* *SPLUTTER*
Obviously I have issues with accepting the fact that I have Mommy Brain and am only doomed to get worse as the years go by.

Remember, you’ve also given birth. That entitles you to losing your mind and forgetting once and a while! ;) I stay organized with my Google Calendar. I make sure to check it several times throughout the day (When emailing etc) and it helps. But nothing is perfect. I still forget stuff all the time!
I’m with you- I’m holding off as long as I possibly can!!
Although, I have to say that what I *really* wants is a cell phone plan that includes unlimited internet, as well as an iPhone or something similarly spiffy, and then just use it and Google Calendar to make any planning-related notes that I need. I *really* don’t want a planner. Ugh.
Also, Google Calendar can e-mail you reminders. So if you forget to check the agenda and miss the fact that your stack of 20 library books are due, don’t worry, the email will remind you before it’s too late!!
I love planners!! Go out and getch’ ya one!! =)

It’s all in how you look at it. I bought myself a Franklin Covey planner (love love love) quite joyfully, saying to myself, Yay! I have a life now!

Summer, there was a time I could make a doctor appointment for 12 months into the future and not even have to write it down. But then I got old and rattled like you. ha! I did resort to a planner for many years. But surprise!!! I haven’t carried one around for the past 4 years. I schedule everything in Outlook now since I’m always on the computer. Alerts pop up to remind me of what I have scheduled. So, maybe you can use a calendaring tool. Anyhow. Good luck!
He he he…Oh the joys and pains of Mommy Brain! I uesd to keep a very accurate calendar in my brain, but it got replaced with that sixth sense of knowing exactly when your child is going to get hurt or make a mess that makes time slow down just so you can feel your full failure to help in those situations. I’m thinking an Iphone or Itouch is sounding good about now!

I love my planner. Actually, I’m addicted to my planner. I had a favorite for many years, but now I have a Family Planner! My husband tried to convince me to go to a Blackberry, but I just couldn’t do it. ACK! Does that make me old?
It hurts my brain to even think of all we have going on right now … I am right there with you :) !!
lol. Just give up and get one. Really. They have them in cute trendy styles now and small enough to hide in a purse or diaper bag. No one has to know…
