Are you still waiting?

For wedding cake pictures that is? Because sadly I must make you wait a bit longer, but not too much longer.

So wow, I took a really long bloggy break with the exception of one measley post thrown in. But it felt really really nice to actually ignore that little buzzing in my brain that kept telling me I must post. There was too much going on anyway - a wedding, Christmas, family parties, tons and tons of snow…

I certainly wouldn’t want to put you all through the painfulness of a huge recap so suffice it to say we had a great Christmas being with family. The kids love being with their cousins, especially Angel Girl who got carried around and doted on by all the 8-14 year old girl cousins she has.

Today is the only sad day in the whole trip because my hubby is leaving us. The kids and I are staying a bit longer but he heads back home today since I guess he has to get back to his job or ssomething silly like that. I wish I was going back with him but at least I’ll have more time for family and friends. My bestest friend is currently in town as well so that’s more time with her which I’m very happy about.
