Healthy Snacking with Yoplait Kids Yogurt

Yogurt is one of my favorite healthy snacks to offer the kids and fun brands like Yoplait make them even more eager to eat it. Their favorite characters like Dora, Diego and Blue are featured on the yogurt cups. What I didn’t realize before I was asked to try and review Yoplait kids yogurt, was how unhealthy yogurt can actually be depending on how much sugar is added.

Yoplait kids yogurt not only tastes good, it has 25% less sugar than most children’s yogurt and now has 16mg of Omega-3 DHA in each serving. Something we all know is important for our growing kids. There are also no chunks of fruit in Yoplait Kids Yogurt, something that’s important for younger babies or for texture sensitive tots.

Summer Fun Photo Contest

Great Kids Music

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED

I was asked to review some CD’s for Disney through Mom Central and they pushed the date on shipping back so that I was out of town when these CD’s arrived, and my post is due today!

BUT, I’ve had the chance to listen to them now. Many of the songs I had heard before while watching the Disney Channel with the kids. The CD’s that were sent to me are:

* Ralph’s World: The Rhyming Circus
* They Might Be Giants: Here come the 123’s
* Choo-Choo Soul
* Imagination Movers: Juice Box Heroes
* Disney Music Block Party

When choosing music for my kids, it is always very important that I like it too. There’s nothing worse than running errands with annoying music on and then having it play through my head all day long! And it’s always a little tricky to find music that the kids and I both agree on. But all 5 of these CD’s are winners. The songs incorporate toddler learning basics with very catchy tunes.

Imagination Movers has a sort of ska/funk beat, They Might Be Giants has your typical pop rock feel, Ralph’s World has some great acoustic guitar and Choo-Choo Soul is definitely for R&B lovers. Disney Block Party is a combination of groups and artists. I really liked these CD’s and I think your kids will too. All of them provide great dance beats.
