I was captivated by Girl With the Pearl Earring. I see you also included Enders Game - have you ever read the novel Pastwatch by Orson Scott Card? GREAT book! I also very much enjoyed Stone Tables, although that one is COMPLETELY different from his Sci Fi work.
I haven’t read Pastwatch or Stone Tables but I’ll have to look into them now. I really enjoyed the entire Enders game series. I also remember enjoying the Alvin Journeymaker series as a teenager.
Years ago I read a book titled LDSSF - Science Fiction from a specifically LDS perspective. It was facinating. Although Orson Scott Card is active LDS most of his work doesn’t deliberately deal with those themes….however, every now and then there will be a trace sneak in.
The memory of Earth, part of the Homecoming Saga parallels the story of Nephi quite a bit. I haven’t read the ones that follow yet. Maybe I’ll get around to it someday.
